Welcome to our new recycling website.

Since the first bottle bank arrived in Kirklees in 1979, the Council has continually improved and extended it's recycling facilities for residents. This website has been put together to help you quickly and easily find all the information on recycling you need. If there is any information you cannot find, or have any feedback about the site, please E-mail us at ENV.WasteSegregation@kirklees.gov.uk

We now have an excellent range of facilities including:

• A green bin scheme for paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, food tins and drinks cans
• A kerbside collection of glass bottles and jars
• Bagged garden waste collections (on request)
• Low-cost home compost bins
• 5 Household Waste Recycling sites
• 130 Community Recycling centres
